Within the exhibition Rinascimento, la persona e il suo luogo (by Matilde Piazzi), Roberto Paci Dalò and Eleonora Frattarolo perform in Per-sona, an acustic and visual journey through the eyes of some portraits that have most marked the history of painting and photography. In Per-sona silence becomes sound.
Press kitRoberto Paci Dalò, presents a sound work connected to the etymology of the word “person”. Roberto Paci Dalò performs with Eleonora Frattarolo, professor of History of Drawing at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Bologna in Bologna and curator of the exhibition Rinascimento, la persona e il suo luogo. She talks about some portraits that have marked the history of painting and photography.
Paci Dalò’s work is Zeitlos, a sound composition that is divided into ten acoustic portraits. Using iconic voices, these act as a sound counterpoint to the ten portraits of which Frattarolo speaks, in an incessant acoustic and visual conversation.
