KIN is a radio and performance project with workshop sessions of The School of Radio. The city of Santarcangelo is temporary “occupied” with the broadcasting of a composite schedule: materials of the artists present at the festival, the voice of the citizens and original materials created by the team will be spread throughout public and private space with listening points, improvisations, electronics and radio performances. Within the Santarcangelo Festival 2020 and 2021.
KIN is a multiple and mutational project in which a residential laboratory becomes at the same time the occasion of an artistic experience. The project develops between The School of Radio’s sessions and radio performance produced by participants during Santarcangelo Festival. Is also essential to KIN a close relationship with the festival and the spaces of the city, which becomes a transceiver station. The sessions of the School of Radio focus on the themes of listening, reception and transmission, radio drama, audio documentary, podcasting, sound art and transmission arts, leaving open the space for further study of other topics in relation to the development of the laboratory.
