Funkhaus Heiner Müller

Funkhuas Heiner Müller is a cycle of workshops and performances, conceived and led by Roberto Paci Dalò, that takes place in different locations. The workshop focuses on the texts of the German playwright Heiner Muller. At each stage different texts are used and become the basis for staging a performance adapted to the location and broadcast on the radio.

The workshop is site-specific. We work in relation to the surrounding space through the voices, sounds and actions of the participants. Particular importance is given to digital and electronic technologies, real time processing and transformation of instrumental sounds and the use of the voice. Müller’s texts are therefore declined in space, light, sound, body, voice and transformed into a radio and stage performance. The final performance will become a podcast that can be listened to, downloaded and shared, distributed on various platforms. The stages of the workshop: February 8-9-10, 2020 Verona, Ex-church San Pietro al Monastero; February 11-12-13, 2020 Belluno, Teatro Comunale; February 21-22-23, 2020 Legnago (VR), Teatro Salieri; August 7-8-9, 2021 Ancona, Mole Vanvitelliana.
