Storie di Lupi e Lepri (“Stories of Wolves and Hares”) is an exhibition composed of eighty drawings by Roberto Paci Dalò in 2009, during his stay in Naples.
The drawings, apparently childish, are part of the creative process of the artist who constantly uses graphic representation to elaborate and give shape to his projects.
Storie di Lupi e Lepri speaks of wolves, hares but also men and women who observe each other with their eyes wide open, creating a story to be discovered.
Other wolves, much more disturbing, are part of the series of drawings Werwolf, also present in the exhibition. In this case, the wolves are an evocation of a staggering historical event of the Second World War: the Nazi partisan guerrilla warfare against the allies in the last period of the conflict. An audio document from the Nazi radio station is part of the work. Werwolf was conceived in Berlin in 2006 on the basis of a text by the playwright Heiner Müller, at the invitation of the Internationale Heiner Müller Gesellschaft.
Storie di Lupi e Lepri is first exhibited in Naples at the Hde Gallery, then in Rimini at the Percorsi/Arte Contemporanea Gallery. The exhibition in Rimini is inaugurated on September 11, 2010.
